Serbian basic

course is intended for speakers of English language interested in online classes of Serbian language and who have none of the earlier experience with it. It has been developed by Adult Learning Center KURSOMANIJA with the use of blended approach to learning a foreign language combining on-line material being delivered here and live classes with the instructor who is a foreign language teacher and whose mother tongue is Serbian.

Who should take this course?

• those who are very busy in every day life
• those who work in shifts and have no time to go to classic courses
• those who like working in their own pace and rythm
• those who like to train their skills with the instructor
• those who have good internet connection, a smart device or a computer with speakers and microphone

How long does it take?

This is an 11 weeks course. It has a total of 64 classes or 50 hours of coursework in group with the instructor and alone on the computer or your device.

How is the course organized?

Material is divided in modules (weeks) and once per week you will participate in the live online class (90 minutes delivered by Uberconference) with the instructor where all that you have read and tried to remember will be practiced and trained further in order for retention of the given material to be grater. You will watch videos, read lessons and do the exercises online or download and print them to do it with paper and pen.

What if I have some questions during my independent work? 

During the course you have the possibility to engage with instructor and other students in Facebook closed group on all the topics from the course. You will receive the link to the group as soon as you enroll in the course. Feel free to add your homework there, ask questions and lead discussions with both your instructor and fellow students.

Do I have to take any tests?

The course has four modules, after each you will have an online test. To pass you need 60% of correct answers in written test and also to send us an audio file on the topic we were covering (to speak about yourself in Serbian for ex.) and share it in the closed facebook group. 

When you've finished all four modules and have passed the tests and sent us audio files you have finished our Serbian beginner course and we will gladly send you your CZO Kursomanija Diploma scanned and/or original sent by post to your home address.

How many students there is in a group?

Because we have live classes once per week number of students per group can be maximum 10 and minimum 4.

We will hold online courses when there is a minimum od 4 students enrolled at the same time.

We will send you an enrollment email with link to the Facebook group when you sing up for the course and also a reminder email a day before the start of the course.
